With the recent “bailout” of Wall Street at the expense of the American taxpayer, it’s about time that we take a good hard look at our “two party system”. With both the Democrat and Republican presidential candidates voting in favor of dumping the losses of Wall Street speculators and foreign investors into the laps of current and future generations of Americans – WHILE THEY GET TO KEEP THE PROFITS – it has become painfully obvious that neither of these candidates have OUR best interests in mind.

Estimates are that 95% – 98% of Americans are against the “bailout”. So why is that both the Democrat and Republican candidates voted for it? Well, have a look at these statistics:

John McCain’s donor base: (from http://www.opensecrets.org/politicia…)

Merrill Lynch $306,813 *
Citigroup Inc $277,251 **
Goldman Sachs $234,345 **
Morgan Stanley $234,272 **
AT&T Inc $192,557
JPMorgan Chase & Co $185,325 **
Credit Suisse Group $165,575 *
Blank Rome LLP $155,326
Greenberg Traurig LLP $148,787
UBS AG $138,665 **
PricewaterhouseCoopers $138,320
US Government $137,842
Bank of America $133,975 *
FedEx Corp $123,953
Wachovia Corp $123,096 *
Pinnacle West Capital $123,050
Lehman Brothers $120,600 **
Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher $104,250
US Army $103,613
Bear Stearns $99,300 *

Barrack Obama’s donor base: (from http://www.opensecrets.org/politicia…)
Goldman Sachs $748,880 **
University of California $625,911
JPMorgan Chase & Co $493,469 **
Harvard University $473,669
Citigroup Inc $467,849 **
Google Inc $426,174
University of Chicago $424,539
UBS AG $423,045 **
Skadden, Arps et al $394,335
Lehman Brothers $393,324 **
National Amusements Inc $385,803
Microsoft Corp $380,735
Sidley Austin LLP $379,802
Kirkland & Ellis $376,164
Moveon.org $347,463
Morgan Stanley $341,320 **
Time Warner $338,677

Notice that the companies with asterisks* will ALL benefit from the bailout. Also notice that six of these companies with two asterisks** are heavily backing BOTH candidates.

How does this make you feel, knowing that YOUR future is being mortgaged away BY BOTH PARTIES to protect the wild investment strategies of a few crooks on Wall Street and some international bankers? Frankly, it makes most Americans ANGRY!

That said, here are a few questions for you to ponder:

Obama supporters:
1. Does it worry you that Senator Obama voted to allow spying on your emails and phone calls (FISA)?
2. How does it make you feel to know that Barack voted FOR the PATRIOT ACT?
3. Are you concerned that he now favors offshore oil drilling?
4. Are you worried that he will just move our brave soldiers from the deserts of Iraq to the deserts of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran?
5. His advisors include people from the Clinton and Bush administrations, and his running mate has spent over half of his life in the U.S. Senate. Is this real “change”?
6. Are you happy with his “bailout” vote?

McCain supporters:
1. Are you comfortable with McCain’s promises to really slash government spending and lower your taxes while remaining in Iraq for 100 years?
2. Do you agree with his vote to grant amnesty to 12 million people who have entered our country illegally?
3. Do you really believe he is a staunch supporter of the second amendment and the right to life?
4. Are you happy with his “bailout” vote?

Knowing what you know about both candidates’ votes on the “bailout”, does this surprise you?: Voting 72-26, senators in 2005 passed a bill that would shift most large class-action suits from state courts to federal courts, where corporate defendants improve their chances of winning. McCain and Obama voted YES.

Albert Einstein described insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.

So what can we do about it? Well, there are four candidates in the race who are on the ballot in enough states to WIN THE ELECTION, and who have agreed on four very important planks that the Democrat and Republican parties refuse to address:

1. FOREIGN POLICY: The Iraq War must end as quickly as possible with removal of all our soldiers from the region. We must initiate the return of our soldiers from around the world, including Korea, Japan, Europe and the entire Middle East. We must cease the war propaganda, threats of a blockade and plans for attacks on Iran, nor should we re-ignite the cold war with Russia over Georgia. We must be willing to talk to all countries and offer friendship and trade and travel to all who are willing. We must take off the table the threat of a nuclear first strike against all nations.

2. PRIVACY: We must protect the privacy and civil liberties of all persons under US jurisdiction. We must repeal or radically change the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and the FISA legislation. We must reject the notion and practice of torture, eliminations of habeas corpus, secret tribunals, and secret prisons. We must deny immunity for corporations that spy willingly on the people for the benefit of the government. We must reject the unitary presidency, the illegal use of signing statements and excessive use of executive orders.

3. THE NATIONAL DEBT: We believe that there should be no increase in the national debt. The burden of debt placed on the next generation is unjust and already threatening our economy and the value of our dollar. We must pay our bills as we go along and not unfairly place this burden on future generations.

4. THE FEDERAL RESERVE: We seek a thorough investigation, evaluation and audit of the Federal Reserve System and its cozy relationships with the banking, corporate, and other financial institutions. The arbitrary power to create money and credit out of thin air behind closed doors for the benefit of commercial interests must be ended. There should be no taxpayer bailouts of corporations and no corporate subsidies. Corporations should be aggressively prosecuted for their crimes and frauds.

Ask yourself if you have EVER heard McCain or Obama discuss these issues in this manner during their campaigns – and when they did mention them, if you agreed with their positions or even believed that they were being sincere…

The candidates who support OPEN AND HONEST DISCUSSION of these four issues are:

Chuck Baldwin – Constitution Party – http://www.baldwin08.com/
Cynthia McKinney – Green Party – http://votetruth08.com/
Ralph Nader – Independent – http://www.votenader.org/
Bob Barr – Libertarian Party – http://www.bobbarr2008.com/

Here’s something to ponder… What if instead of supporting the media’s anointed candidates, We The People voted our conscience for once? Imagine the days leading up to November 4th, and it’s a six way neck and neck race instead of more of the “same old, same old”… Imagine debates over REAL ISSUES for once! And while the solutions these candidates offer may differ somewhat, THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY SOLUTIONS UNTIL WE ADDRESS THE REAL PROBLEMS.

If you are worried about wasting your vote, remember that voting for the LESSER OF TWO EVILS is still a vote for EVIL, and that is truly a WASTED VOTE. If you vote FOR YOUR VALUES your vote is NEVER wasted.

Here are some websites related to this idea:

If you agree with the ideas put forth in this email, please delete any email addresses shown in the header, add your name to the list below, and pass it on to as many people as you can. Remember the Microsoft and JC Penney and puppies and kittens emails? Well, it’s time to use the power of the internet for REAL CHANGE! The vast majority of the voting public uses email, so let’s get this message to every single one of them! WE CAN DO THIS!!!

One more thing… The media’s polls often don’t include third party candidates. Don’t let these slanted polls fool you, this can work! They will be in for a BIG surprise! It’s time to put control of our government back in the hands of We The People – PEOPLE LIKE YOU AND ME!

1. Vincent Mross, Glendale, CA
2. Carolee Williams, San Diego, CA
3. Dan Kramer, San Diego, CA
4. Jerry Day, Burbank, CA
5. Billy Grippo
6. Sharyn Keller, Los Angeles, CA

Ron Paul publicly names neoconservatives

The good Dr. Paul is the only one with real guts and integrity to put the truth out there. The American people are asleep on the narcotic of information manipulation feed to us by the controlled media. Journalistic integrity is dead and buried. Ron Paul defies the media double-talk and cuts right to the quick about where the problems are and our challenges in solving them. Paul is more of a real man than all candidates combined, including Billary. The rest are nothing but empty suits, 2-faced charlatans, professional liars and bought sold & paid for puppets on strings who serve much greater masters. They’re not going to “change’ anything. More war. More bankrupting the US economy. More Federal Reserve fraud. More billion dollar taxpayer funded handouts to Israel. More million dollar checks to Pakistan in “foreign aid”. More lies. More selling out America and our Constitution. More Patriot Act BS. Increased tyranny & police state. They sure as hell don’t represent us, they only pretend to and FAKE it. Ron Paul is truly America’s last hope. The controlled media smear campaign and censorship on him is disgusting. They want you to vote for their select war friendly paid for AIPAC friendly puppets, none else. Ron Paul doesn’t play ball with the criminals so it’s no surprise he is undeserving victim of their mass media blackout subversion. I cannot for the life of me understand how any media outlet can say someone has “no chance of winning”. Technically, every candidate “has a chance”, by saying this, they are automatically spreading their own propaganda. Ron Paul can’t win? I’m sure Washington, Jefferson heard the same thing. The controlled mass media is the propaganda wing of the fascist U.S. government. The fascists own the media. The USA has become a one party system with two branches. This propaganda press is out to censor, marginalize, and demonize Ron Paul at every opportunity. Clinton, Romney, Huckabee, and McCain are all buddies that are putting on a show in order to convince us they are “opposed” to each other. When in reality it couldn’t be further from the Truth. They’re only up there to ‘play ball’. It’s a joke. It doesn’t matter which one of them gets elected they will only carry out the plan. The mass media promotes all of them. Ron Paul is America’s last chance to repent from being an empire. Speak Truth and Honesty to power. Don’t let the treasonous corporate media shut us out.

“The last thing the men behind the curtain want is a conscious, informed public capable of critical thinking, which is why a continually fraudulent zeitgeist is output, via religion, the mass media, and the educational system. They seek to keep you in a distracted, naive bubble. And they’re doing a damn good job of it.’

Desperate Clinton crosses ‘the Joe Lieberman threshold’

So who will run the country in 2009?  The same people who have been running it all along.

“I think that since we now know Sen. (John) McCain will be the nominee for the Republican Party, national security will be front and center in this election. We all know that. And I think it’s imperative that each of us be able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold,” the New York senator told reporters crowded into an infant’s bedroom-sized hotel conference room in Washington.

“I believe that I’ve done that. Certainly, Sen. McCain has done that and you’ll have to ask Sen. Obama with respect to his candidacy,” she said.

Calling McCain, the presumptive GOP nominee a good friend and a “distinguished man with a great history of service to our country,” Clinton said, “Both of us will be on that stage having crossed that threshold. That is a critical criterion for the next Democratic nominee to deal with.”

I will tell you what I know about this, though.

It’s an attempt to poison the well for Barack Obama in 2008. Her goal is two-fold:

  1. To make Obama appear as unelectable as possible to scare Superdelegates into voting for her at the convention; and
  1. if that doesn’t work, to make sure that McCain defeats Obama in November so she can run again in 2012 and scold the party with “I told you so.”

“There are certain critical issues that voters always look to in a general election. National security experience (and) the qualifications to be commander-in-chief are front and center. They always have been. They always will be,” she said.

She said she and McCain had traveled to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan together as she repeated a line that surfaced from the campaign trail. She and McCain “bring a lifetime of experience to the campaign, Clinton said, while “Sen. Obama will bring a speech he gave in 2002,” stating his opposition to the Iraq war as an Illinois state senator.

Folks, for 2008, Hillary Clinton has one overriding goal:

Prevent Barack Obama from winning the White House.

If that means she wins, great. But, if that means handing the White House to the Republican and John McCain, that’s also acceptable. Because, after all, there’s always 2012.

Her worst case scenario is Barack Obama defeating her close friend and ally, John McCain.

She has crossed a threshold.

Not the “Commander in chief threshold.”

She’s crossed the “Joe Lieberman Threshold” by campaigning on behalf of the Republican nominee for President.

Ron Paul DVD Bomb phase two ~ Feb. 5th 2008

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate running that can solve are economic isssues.

Buy some DVD’s from http://www.ronpauldvd.com get 10 for 8 bucks no shipping and spread them out!

“…reaching 5 Million homes by February 5th the day 24 states cast their votes…”

All of Ron Paul’s momentum has been built up by grassroots supporters, we are the ones who organize and execute moneybombs, we are the people writing about the only hope america has to go back to its humble beginnings. Ron Paul is an American Hero and once america wakes up and see’s his message at their doorstep they will want more and spread his message for him. I really urge everyone to spread this around the net so it can reach as many peole as possible! Write other Ron Paul websites and tell them to tell the people to bring this election into the people’s hands!

We must spread his message and name personally! The traditional media is not working for us and neither is traditional advertising! Look at the polls half the older generation hasn’t even considered Ron Paul!! This isn’t because they don’t like his message but because they never heard it. You can burn your own DVD’s and spread them throughout your community, once they reach one person they will get passed on and on… reaching 5 Million homes by February 5th the day 24 states cast their votes to pick the delegates to choose a nominee for the republican party.

We have a lot of support however even though the main stream media will only report the bad sounding stats and not his two second place popular vote victories, or the fact california and texas are coming up soon and they either one has more delegates than any of the current candidate’s have at his point with 8 states already voting. Ron has made it clear this isn’t over till the end!

This recession will turn into a much larger problem if another president leads this country down a destructive path of PRO military or PRO universal healthcare. This will only further we weaken the dollar by creating money out of thin air or borrowing to pay for these. The only people paying are the american middle class with their 30% / year income tax.Ron Paul has the answers, he’s been in congress for over 30 years, help us spread his message of equal rights, humble foriegn, policy, free trade, and return to our countries prosperous economy and limited government and tell your friends, neighbors, someone you see at the supermarket, anyone who wants to live free.

Buy some DVD’s from http://www.ronpauldvd.com get 10 for 8 bucks no shipping and spread them out!Spread this everywhere I just wrote it on http://www.vote4ronpaul.wordpress.com

Problem Many good people out there in Non-Internet Land don’t even have a clue Ron Paul exists. They may feel they’re informed because they read the local paper, and/or watch the local news. However, neither (including the national media) are offering enough coverage on our favorite hero, the one we love to love, Ron Paul. As well, there are many who DO have access to the Internet… even broadband access, but perhaps are “search-challenged”, or too lazy to use it to get information about the Good Doctor. Well, it’s time to help those poor unfortunate souls out! ;-)

Solution Take the Internet to the People! My wife and I have spent some time (indeed many hours) searching the Internet for media coverage of Ron Paul. I have downloaded several video clips; some short; some long. Among these are various interviews, and debate coverage of Ron Paul. I have taken thesemost excellent clips of our folk hero, and created some DVDs containing non-stop Ron Paul action. Each video clip has it’s own chapter, or “scene”, so you can easily jump around using a Select menu. So, with a copy of this disc in hand, there should be no plausable excuse (except the “I don’t have a DVD player…” one) why the intended recipient can’t watch it. Anyone can sit on their sofa for a few minutes, and catch up on WHO Ron Paul is, WHAT he stands for, and WHY his message is important to ALL of us.

RonPaulMessage.com

Then there is RonPaulMessage.com a wonderful site which lets users print out large banners on standard printers and tape them together. They also have a ton of other printable Ron Paul media for supporters to pass out or put up. If you believe in the constitution, freedom, and individual liberty please do SOMETHING this February 1st!

Ron Paul was biggest GOP fundraiser last quarter

Well, it’s official, ladies and gentlemen. Believe it or not, Rep. Ron Paul, the 72-year-old Texan who hardly ever gets mentioned in Republican political news and the one-time libertarian who always gets the least time on TV debates if he isn’t barred completely, was, in fact, the most successful Republican fundraiser in the last three months of 2007.

The American Conservative Magazine Endorses Ron Paul for President

“Only [Ron Paul] has put forth a diagnosis of America’s current ills and has a vision to turn America off its misguided course.”

The presidential fields of both parties have narrowed, and the arguments about how we should move forward are now familiar. TAC believes that only one candidate has put forth a diagnosis of America’s current ills and has a vision to turn the country off its misguided course. That is Congressman Ron Paul, whom we endorse for the Republican nomination.
